"Theta Sigma" is the landing page for the collection of Doctor Who universe fiction which I have been writing since 2005. For those who need to be reminded, Theta Sigma was The Doctor's nickname when he was a student at the Prydonian Academy. It is also the title of my prequel series in which I chronicle the adventures of the young Time Lord graduate setting out on his first adventures who will one day become known as The Doctor, but I think it serves as an umbrella title for the whole series. All of the stories are in HTML and Word format version. Click on the logo to go to the main index page for each story series or use the drop down menus to select an individual story. The longer running serials are also divided into years to make them easier to manage. The 'Hub' page will have the first story of each year and links to the hub page for that year.

From 2005, I have had a quite punishing schedule for writing these stories. But illness, loss of sight and regular hospital stays and other problems have made that difficult. So, in future I am cutting down the number of new stories. I want to concentrate on the classic doctors, Sarah-Jane and Paternoster Row stories. And when the Fifteenth Doctor has made his mark, I will be writing for him. But Theta Sigma and New Lords of Time can take a back seat for a while. New stories will be announced as they come along.

Keep reading. Thanks.

FINALLY finished  the Marion in Italy set of stories. Find them All here.

Unfinished Business

Unfinished Business:- Because 13 stories weren't enough.

It all began in the wake of that 2005 series. Thirteen episodes never seemed enough. Everyone wanted more. In particular they wanted more of The Doctor and Rose falling in love. Unfinished Business is adventure and romance mixed together in a version of events where the regeneration on the Game Station never happened. The Doctor and Rose go on together, sometimes accompanied by Jack Harkness, sometimes with other friends, and the whole thing inevitably leads to a wedding of the millennia.

Theta Sigma

Theta Sigma came next, launched at New Year 2006. It is the ultimate prequel. We all know that The Doctor wasn't always The Doctor. Once he was a young, idealistic Time Lord in his 190's, a mere teenager, fresh from the Prydonian Academy, eager to see the universe and make new friends. These are his adventures in that innocent time long before he became the grumpy old man with white hair and a stick.

marion and Kristoph - Prequel to the Prequel

Theta Sigma was largely based on the Eighth Doctor's claim that he was half-Human on his mother's side. References to Christo's Human mother appear throughout the series. So the question came to be asked - how did a Human and a Time Lord meet and fall in love? The answer to the question had to be a whole new series of stories. There are tears and laughter here, and some adventures, but mostly this is an ongoing love story that spans a galaxy. - A soap opera of Gallifrey.

new Lords of Time

Doctor #9 is married to Rose and patriarch of the New Lords of Time, his Gallifreyan family in exile on Earth. Now, his great-grandchildren and even more future generations are carrying on where he left off, fighting injustice in time and space..

New Lords of time:- Because the unfinished Business never really finished. The Doctor and Rose are married now and the Doctor is SUPPOSED to be retiring and leaving the safety of the universe to his children. But will he EVER really retire?

Ten

Ten:- Because 13 stories about Doctor #10 just isn't enough, either, here is our other spin off, the further adventures of the fast talking alien with the cheesy grin, the long coat and the answer to everything.

These are the further adventures of the fast talking alien with the cheesy grin, the long coat and the answer to everything, with a whole new set of companions.

Eleven

Join the Eleventh Doctor and his companions they journey through time and space together.

Twelve

The Twelfth Doctor asks us  to trust him as he takes us on a new set of adventures in time and space.

Eight Doctors

Eight Doctors is a series of stories featuring the 'classic' Doctors. The first thirteen are crossover stories seen in the adventures of the Ninth and Tenth Doctors. Wintermen is a story I wrote in 1991 and was later adapted as a Ninth Doctor story. It is here in its original Seventh Doctor form. And after that, new stories about the old Doctors.

Sarah Jane Adventures

The Sarah Jane Adventures are my collection of Fiction suitable for all ages. Yes, the legend lives on. Sarah Jane forever. Originally weekly, these are now posted on alternative months with the Paternoster Row Adventures.

The Paternoster Row Adventures

The Paternoster Row Adventures follow Madam Vastra, Jenny Flint and Strax through Victorian London where just about anything might happen.

torchwood

Torchwood Fiction:- Like the series, these will be post watershed stories. Not for the fainthearted.   Torchwood Fiction:- Like the series, these will be post watershed stories. Not for the fainthearted.

Like the TV series, these are post watershed stories. Not for the fainthearted. But forget the traumas of Children of Earth, don't worry about Miracle Day. In these stories Ianto and Jack both have new men in their lives. Toshiko and Owen are alive and well and running the Glasgow Office with a whole new team. Two Torchwoods for the price of one.

For the fiftieth Anniversary this is a twelve part novel about a twelfth regeneration that should not have happened and The Doctor's quest to take back a life and become the madman in the box again.

Feedback

Constructive criticism is always welcome, of course. So is praise if you think I deserve it. Feel free to email me. But I’m not at home to abuse. If you hate the very concept of Doctor Who, then pass this site by and leave it alone. It is none of your business. If you think the stories should be more x-rated, pass on by. We’re not going there. If you just feel like being rude, then go play elsewhere.  Do I have to spell it out? I think not.

Also, let me know if there are any bad spellings or broken links.
