Home brings Chrístõ and Kohb home to Gallifrey, against his will in Chrístõ’s case. He has to give depositions which will see his cousin, Epsilon, extradited and made to stand trial. This, of course, sets things up for a trial story in future. But as yet, it IS only a set up.

Also being set up is the idea that somebody wants Chrístõ dead. But that is no great surprise to him, and the fact that the potential assassin was a servant of the Oakdăĕηĕ  family is no surprise either.

The setting for the second half of the story, the Lodge, was originally created for a Marion and Kristoph story. It becomes their place to get away from it all. But it seemed such a wonderful place that I considered the possibility of a Theta Sigma story based around it. Of course, Chrístõ and Julia aren’t yet ready for romantic weekends at the Lodge, where swimming pools and saunas offer sensual possibilities. So the reverse striptease and the harmless play remind us that Chrístõ is still a teenager by his own world’s standards and ought to have more fun in his life.
