Epsilon
Again confirms what Chrístõ said when he left Epsilon stranded
on Coronula IV. He would be back. He gets back in this story very simply
by a mysterious benefactor on Gallifrey sending him a replacement dimension
circuit to get his TARDIS operational again. He takes the messenger, a
Caretaker called Morlen Kohbran as his assistant and inspired by Kohb’s
ability to perform magic tricks, and some useful information passed on
to him by The Rani, hatches a plan to kill Chrístõ.
And that’s all there is to this one. It is a non-Chrístõ
story, rare in that respect. Its nearest equivalent in Doctor Who history
is probably the 1965 episode, Mission to The Unkown, which was a single
23 minute episode with none of the regular characters in it, and which
set the scene for the Dalek Masterplan. This sets the scene for Epsilon’s
Masterplan.
Incidentally, the characters in the document version title
are the Greek for Epsilon Again.
